Sunny Vibes Release Blog Hop-Day 2

Hello again, crafty friends. Today’s cards are part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release.

To create these cards, I used THESE layering rainbow stencils.

For the first card…

I applied a variety of Pawsitively Saturated inks through the stencils to create the rainbow rays. I went back on top with another stencil and a heavier hand to add details to the rays. I finished off the design with THIS die cut sentiment.

For the second card…

I applied the same colors of ink through the rainbow layering stencils but did it on a 8.5 x11 sheet of cardstock (along the bottom). This way, I could cut it in half and get two cards from it. Instead of adding the details with the stencil, I dry embossed THIS stencil on top with THIS embossing mat in my die cut machine. I love the texture it gives…

I finished off the design with THIS die cut sentiment, THESE die cut hearts, and THIS printed sentiment. I also dry embossed the flap of the envelope with the same stencil.

For the final card…

I used the other piece but created a vertical card with it. I dry embossed it with THIS stencil, die cut THIS heart from it and then added a few more die cut hearts under for dimension. I stamped this sentiment on the heart and finished off with the same die cut hearts.

Here’s a closer look…

I love the subtle texture…

I embossed the flap of the envelop with the same stencil…

There is much more inspiration to see…

Heather, you’ve created some incredible pieces with this release, your princesses at the end are super cute and I LOVE your beautiful rainbow cards, clever getting two cards from one stencilled background and they look awesome portrait and landscape. The embossed texture is so cool too! LOVE the glossy cardstock you used for the sentiments too! I love ALL the makes you shared, all so creative and wonderful. Hugs, Wends xoxo
