Interactive Graduation Card

Hi, crafty friends. I have an interactive Graduation card to share today…

To create this card, I applied blue ink through THIS stencil to create the background. Next, I cut the pieces from THIS die from blue cardstock and inserted the tabs through each slot that the die cuts. I adhered THESE balloons on top which I stamped with THIS ink and heat embossed with THIS powder. I adhered the arrow in place to the pull tap and adhered the entire piece to a white note card using foam tape, leaving room around the moving mechanism. I finished off the design with some of THESE cloud borders along the bottom that I adhered with foam tape and added the balloons from the same stamp set on the top and bottom of the card.

When the recipient pulls the tab, the balloons raise up as if they are floating in the sky…
There is a great video HERE explaining more in detail on how to assemble this interactive die.

I used the recipient’s school colors for the balloons to give it a personal touch.

I also embossed the flap of THIS envelope with THIS die using THIS embossing mat….

I hope this inspires you to add an interactive element on your next card design.

Thank you for visiting today. Happy crafting!
